The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities of implementing the concept of "soft power" in Russia through the export of education to the countries of Central Asia. The purpose of the research is to study the prospects of implementing Russia's "soft power" through the export of educational services in the Central Asian region. The paper examines key mechanisms and forms of educational cooperation, including academic mobility programs, the establishment of branches of Russian universities abroad, the provision of state quotas for the education of foreign students, as well as the promotion of the Russian language and the Russian educational model. The research is based on an interdisciplinary approach combining the theoretical positions of international relations, the theory of "soft power", educational management and analysis of global educational markets. When writing the paper, a wide range of methods were used, such as content analysis, economic and statistical analysis, and sociological methods (surveys and interviews). The author carries out an expert assessment of the importance of education exports as a tool for strengthening Russia's humanitarian influence in the region, and also examines the impact of educational policy on the formation of loyal national elites, the development of economic cooperation and the maintenance of cultural and historical ties. The article assesses the challenges and limitations of this process, including competition from Western and Asian countries, demographic changes, especially national educational systems, and internal reforms of higher education in Russia. Special attention is paid to assessing successful practices and prospects for the further development of educational cooperation, including the digitalization of the educational process, the introduction of joint educational programs and the expansion of research cooperation. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of applying the findings to develop strategies to increase the attractiveness of Russian education in the international arena. The author concludes that the export of Russian education has significant potential to strengthen the country's international position in Central Asia, but its effectiveness depends on an integrated approach, strategic planning and adaptation to the changing conditions of the global educational space.
