<abstract xml:lang="ru">

The aim of the paper is to identify the contemporary political attitudes of India. The article examines the evolution of India's foreign policy strategy in the context of global changes, where along with the polarization of the world order, a more complex and dynamic system of international relations is being formed. The relevance of the study is conditioned by India's growing role as a key player in global politics, as well as its aspiration for strategic autonomy in the context of increasing competition. The author examines how India balances cooperation and rivalry using flexible approaches to international relations, which makes the topic particularly significant for understanding the current trends in the world order. The research methodology includes an interdisciplinary approach combining qualitative content analysis of official documents with quantitative analysis of statistical data. It allows us to assess the compliance of India's contemporary foreign policy with the criteria of "multiplexity". The novelty of the paper lies in the application of the non-Western concept of "multiplexity" to explain India's contemporary foreign policy strategy. India is strengthening its influence through multi-vector cooperation and regional initiatives. The author concludes that India's foreign policy is evolving towards "multiplexity", combining elements of multipolarity with flexible network interactions. India is positioning itself as the voice of the Global South, actively participating in a variety of international formats and promoting its own norms of global governance. The study contributes to the understanding of the role of rising powers in shaping the new world order.
