In the problem of forming a methodology for analyzing the development processes of the construction complex and supporting industries in the post-industrial economy, within the framework of the study of the theoretical and methodological foundations for analyzing the development processes of the construction complex and supporting industries, an important role is played by the description of the construction complex as an object of management in relation to modern and prospective economic conditions. The purpose of the presented study is a model description of the construction complex as a management object in the interests of increasing the efficiency of its functioning. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the systematization of models that can be used to describe the construction complex and the formation on this basis of a hierarchical structure of models that are appropriate to use to describe the construction complex as an object of management at the global, meso- and macroeconomic levels. The practical significance of the results of the conducted research lies in the possibility of their use to improve the efficiency of development of the construction complex, primarily at the level of the national economy (macroeconomic level) and at the regional level (mesoeconomic level).
