This study examines the socio-demographic and moral-psychological traits of the personalities of leaders of ethnic criminal communities, with a particular focus on the characteristics of this category of organized crime. An analysis is conducted of the age, social, and motivational traits and characteristics of the personality of the leader of the ethnic criminal group. Understanding the traits of leaders in ethnic organized crime facilitates effective investigation of these types of crimes. The socio-demographic and moral-psychological attributes of a member of a criminal group reflect their behavioral characteristics and role within the criminal hierarchy. Identifying typical personality traits of leaders in ethnic organized groups significantly simplifies the work of law enforcement agencies in identifying members of the organization, assessing their level of involvement in criminal activities, which aids in the proper qualification of offenses and achieving the goals of prosecution.
