This article is aimed at researching the possibility of introducing virtual educational platforms into school education. The article presents the directions of further development of educational technologies, analyzes the advantages and risks of implementation, and examines the theoretical foundations of digital transformation of education. The case of the UmySchool project, which is being implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan, was examined in more detail. UmySchool teaches children foreign languages on virtual thematic maps. The case uses the Roblox gaming platform, as it allows a person to quickly test hypotheses, create an MVP of the project, and receive feedback. The project demonstrates the increase in motivation and positive perception of the educational process among scholars. Based on the analysis, conclusions are drawn about the potential of virtual platforms in the context of modern schools, and recommendations are provided for their integration into pedagogical practice.
