THE DEPENDENCE OF ANXIETY LEVEL IN PRIMARY SCHOOLCHILDREN ON THEIR COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTS (PART 1)

Abstract:
This article presents the results of a study examining the influence of communication style with parents on anxiety in primary school-aged children. The authors view communication as a crucial factor in a child’s socialization and development, and anxiety as a sublimation of negative emotions. The results of a two-component monitoring program were analyzed, revealing an objective correlation between the anxiety levels of primary school children and the nature and content of their communication with their parents. Based on the empirical data obtained, a program was designed to optimize communication and relationships within the parent-child system, which, when used, helps reduce children’s anxiety levels.
