The article reveals some aspects of the popularization of Olympic values in the educational environment of a medical university based on the assessments of students enrolled in residency programs at the Rostov State Medical University of the Russian Ministry of Health. It presents the essence of the concept of “Olympic values,” as well as the results of an empirical study conducted to identify the significance of Olympic values as a relevant mainstream for the development of personal qualities in young professionals and future doctors in the context of medical education at a university. Based on the results of the empirical study, the article substantiates the undeniable importance of pedagogical work aimed at promoting the values and ideas of Olympism in medical universities as an integral part of professional training. The identified results are necessary for understanding the ways to improve the quality of medical education and enhance the level of professional competence of doctors in modern socio-cultural conditions.
