Obnaruzhennye faznye izmeneniya obschey i triptofanovoy fluorescencii belkov plazmy i membran eritrocitov krovi u pozhilyh lyudey i narkozavisimyh ukazyvayut na uvelichenie dostupnosti triptofanovyh ostatkov k vodnomu okruzheniyu v rezul'tate konformacionnyh perestroek makromolekul i dezorganizaciyu lipidnogo sloya iz-za intensifikacii svobodnoradikal'nyh processov.
