The lecture is devoted to a particularly dangerous infection – Ebola fever, which can be used as a bacteriological weapon. The definition of the disease, historical background, epidemiological characteristics are given, etiopathogenesis, clinical picture (main syndromes of the disease), methods of treatment and prevention of Ebola fever are briefly described.
