The article presents the results of a monitoring conducted among teachers of different age groups on the subject of attitudes towards soft skills. 960 respondents from 28 regions took part in the monitoring. The age of the respondents ranged from 20 to 75 years old, with an average age of 45 years. The average work experience at school is 22 years. The monitoring questions were designed to identify which skills teachers classify as soft skills, how they assess their own degree of soft skills, and which of them are considered primarily necessary for the successful implementation of professional activities.
