Отмечено, что ключевыми фигурами процесса наставничества в медицине выступают те сотрудники профильных организации или образовательного учреждения, которые обладают высокой квалификацией и несут ответственность за профессиональную адаптацию врачей и исследователей; они проводят подготовку наставляемых и в групповом, и в основном в индивидуальном порядке. Согласно результатам проведенного анкетного опроса обучающихся в ЦНИИСиЧЛХ оказалось, что наставники обеспечивают профессиональное консультирование ординаторов, аспирантов и слушателей ДПО, а выступающие в фокус-группе ординаторы соглашались с тем, что подготовка медицинских кадров здесь ведется на высоком уровне вследствие грамотно организованного наставничества. В его рамках обеспечивается установление обратной связи с обучающимися как непосредственно в рамках образовательных структур ЦНИИСиЧЛХ, так и опосредованно через телекоммуникации с регионами. Наставники ЦНИИСиЧЛХ демонстрируют повышающуюся продуктивность образовательной деятельности, совершенствуют клиническую практику ординаторов, включая работу в госпиталях; в аспирантуре они намечают новые темы и даже новые направления научных исследований; в ДПО модифицируют устоявшиеся и вводят новые циклы обучения.
