Currently, financing small businesses is one of the most pressing problems in modern conditions of prioritizing the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Russia. Small businesses play an important role in the economy by creating jobs and stimulating innovation. However, they often have difficulty accessing finance, which limits their development opportunities. In difficult economic conditions, small businesses are in a particularly vulnerable position, since their market positions are weaker than those of large and medium-sized enterprises. The subject of the study is ways to attract financial resources by small and medium-sized businesses in the context of tightening monetary policy, which led to a significant increase in loan rates. To achieve the research goal, the article uses methods of financial analysis and comparison. The article examines the problems of financing small businesses, evaluates existing ways of attracting financing and suggests measures to improve them. As a result of the study, the need for state support for the development of crowdlending as a way to attract financial resources by small and medium-sized businesses, an alternative to lending, is substantiated.
