The article describes the scientific and pedagogical activities of a prominent locomotive scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Anatoly Alekseevich Kamaev, who for many years worked as the head of the Department of Locomotive Engineering at the Bryansk Institute of Transport Engineering - Bryansk State Technical University.
