Особенностью представленного случая хронической тофусной подагры является отсутствие в течение всего периода заболевания типичных острых подагрических приступов и полное сохранение функции суставов при быстром формировании множественных растущих и самопроизвольно вскрывающихся тофусов. Достижение целевого уровня мочевой кислоты в сыворотке крови (менее 0,360 ммоль/л), и сохранение его в течение длительного времени позволяет у таких больных добиваться уменьшения тофусов в размерах, а в отдельных случаях полного их рассасывания

The peculiarity of the presented case of tophaceous gout is the absence in the whole course of a disease of typical acute attacks and complete function retention of joints while a lot of growing and spontaneously blowing up tophi are formed. The achievements of a target level of uric acid in blood serum (less than 0,360 mmol/L) and maintenance of it for a long period helps to achieve the reduction of patients tophi and in some cases their complete resorption
