В рамках настоящей статьи рассматривается международно-правовое регулирование в Арктическом регионе, обосновывается необходимость принятия глобальных международно-правовых норм и правил осуществления хозяйственно-экономической деятельности в данном регионе. Данная статья посвящена правовому режиму Арктического региона, сложность определения которого зависит от использования того или иного подхода, а именно применения к данному району универсальных международно-правовых норм и правил или наделение данной территории особым статусом. В статье обосновывается, что с учетом научно-технических достижений и изменения климата, геополитической обстановки конструктивное международное сотрудничество в Арктике приобретает важнейшее значение. Единственной эффективной международной организацией в данном регионе является Арктический совет, который обеспечивает международное взаимодействие между арктическими государствами и неарктическими странами, которые стремятся усилить свое присутствие в Арктическом регионе.

within the framework of this article, historical and legal aspects related to international cooperation in the Arctic region are considered, as well as issues related to the legal regime of the Arctic region, the complexity of determining which depends on the use of a particular approach, namely the application of universal international legal norms to this area or the granting of a special status to this territory. The article substantiates that, taking into account scientific and technological achievements and climate change, the geopolitical situation, constructive international cooperation in the Arctic is of crucial importance and it is necessary to adopt global international legal norms and rules for the implementation of economic and economic activities in this region. It seems to the authors that the development of these universal legal norms is possible within the framework of the Arctic Council, which for many years has provided constructive international cooperation between the Arctic states and non-Arctic countries, which annually strengthen their presence in the Arctic region.
