   <abstract xml:lang="ru">
    <p>Цель работы: повышение периода стойкости сменных твёрдосплавных пластин за счёт нанесения покрытий для точения труднообрабатываемых нержавеющих сталей.&#13;
Результаты исследования: разработаны рекомендации по выбору рационального покрытия металлорежущего инструмента в зависимости от условий его эксплуатации.&#13;
Выводы: Разработанные покрытия позволяют повысить период стойкости  режущего инструмента до 3 раз.&#13;
В статье рассмотрены результаты применения новых разработанных покрытий на твёрдосплавном материале марки ВК8. Анализ выполнен для токарной обработки нержавеющих сталей марок 09Х17Н7Ю, 12Х18Н10Т, 13Х15Н5АМ-3. Выявлены наиболее рациональные покрытия, которые до 3 раз позволяют повысить период стойкости металлорежущего инструмента.</p>

   <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
    <p>The study objective is to increase the durability period of replaceable carbide inserts by applying coatings for turning hard-to-machine stainless steels.&#13;
Research results: recommendations are made on the choice of a rational coating of a metal-cutting tool, depending on its operating conditions.&#13;
Conclusions: The developed coatings allow to increase the durability period of the cutting tool up to 3 times.&#13;
The paper discusses the results of applying the newly developed coatings on the hard-alloy material of VK8 brand. The analysis is done for turning stainless steels of 09X17N7YU, 12X18N10T, 13X15N5AM-3 grades. The most rational coatings are found, which make it possible to increase the durability period of the metal-cutting tool up to 3 times.</p>
