В статье раскрывается понятие «сократический метод», способный развить навык критического мышления у детей, и который позволит им рационально и объективно анализировать получаемую из разных источников информацию. Продемонстрирован фрагмент урока – задание, приучающее детей к более полному анализу явлений в окружающем их мире, позволяющее повысить уровень понимания материала и заинтересованности учащихся в нём. Важность того, чтобы отвечающий сам постигал возникающую в его голове истину, подтверждена мыслями великого русского педагога К.Д. Ушинского. Его рассуждения о данном методе являются особенно ценными в статье.
The article reveals the concept of the "Socratic method", which is able to develop the skill of critical thinking in children, and which will allow them to rationally and objectively analyze the information received from various sources. A fragment of the lesson is demonstrated – a task that teaches children to a more complete analysis of phenomena in the world around them, allowing them to increase the level of understanding of the material and students' interest in it. The importance of the person answering comprehending the truth that arises in his head is confirmed by the thoughts of the great Russian pedagogue K.D. Ushinsky. His reasoning about this method is especially valuable in the article.
