The article discusses the current problem diagnosis of mental development disorders in children with motor cerebral pathology. Children with motor cerebral pathology, in addition to motor disorders, have various mental disorders in the structure of the defect, including speech disorders, sensory disorders of varying severity. Among children with this pathology, there are groups in which the severity of motor and intellectual defects may have varying degrees of severity. The greatest difficulty for the diagnosis of mental the development of children is caused by those who have severe motor impairments (children do not move independently, do not sit, do not hold their heads, do not know the manipulative function of their hands), who do not know expressive speech and may have hearing and visual impairments of varying severity. The purpose of the article is to present the developed algorithm for organizing and conducting psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of children's development with motor cerebral pathology, which includes seven stages. The presented algorithm will be useful for speech pathologists, psychologists, speech therapists for diagnostic and practical work in educational organizations, centers of various fields, for psychological and pedagogical councils, psychological, medical and pedagogical commissions.
