The digital transformation of justice is one of the key areas of modernization in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence (hereinafter – AI). This article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the possibilities of using intelligent systems in the activities of lawyers, judges and other law enforcement entities. This article examines the functions of intelligent assistants in the processes of document management automation, decision forecasting, analysis of judicial practice, support in making procedural decisions and preparation of legal opinions. This article pays special attention to the issues of legal regulation of the use of these technologies, as well as the risks associated with the loss of personal data, possible discrimination in decision-making in the legal system and the restriction of judicial autonomy. The paper emphasizes that the effective implementation of intelligent assistants is possible provided there is institutional readiness, qualified personnel and transparent mechanisms for assessing algorithmic fairness. In conclusion, the significant results of the introduction of AI into legal practice are presented: an increase in the speed of processing cases; a reduced burden on judges and lawyers; improved accessibility of legal aid for citizens, especially those with a typical structure and a large amount of data, as well as increased accuracy of law enforcement activities
