STYLISTICS OF DECORATIVE AND APPLIED ARTS AS A SOURCE OF CHILDREN’S KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPHERE OF ARTISTIC CREATIVITY
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article examines issues related to the stylistics of several types of decorative and applied art: art postcards, folk, historical and theatrical costumes. It is emphasized that these artifacts are valuable as a phenomenon of cultural heritage and are an important historical source reflecting the achievements of a particular era. The article proves the advisability of familiarizing primary school students with the history of creation, use, social and aesthetic function of “open letters”, as well as stimulating children’s interest in theatrical art through stage costumes. Approaches to presenting information about these types of art products in lessons on the surrounding world and literary reading, as well as in extracurricular activities in forms that can interest primary school children and inspire them to create their own greeting cards and stage costumes are proposed. In general, introducing younger schoolchildren to different types of decorative and applied art allows them to become familiar with the historical and cultural heritage of our country, cultivates aesthetic taste and is an incentive for successful socio-cultural adaptation in Russian society.
