The relevance of the presented study is determined by the fact that goal-setting and strategic planning play a huge role in the process of strategic development of any socio-economic system. In this regard, from the point of view of achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and for the future up to 2036, it is of interest to consider the strategic plan for their achievement, recorded in the Unified plan for achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation up to 2030 and for the future up to 2036, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. To analyze the Unified plan for achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation, it is advisable to use the tools of the "visual system" of strategic thinking as a component of the theoretical basis of strategic management, in particular, the tool "look "behind"", which predetermined the choice of the research topic. The purpose of the presented study is to use the look "behind" the "visual system" of strategic thinking of the school of entrepreneurship of strategic management on the strategic plan for the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation up to 2030 and for the future up to 2036. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in projecting the view “behind” the “visual system” of strategic thinking of the school of entrepreneurship of strategic management, which allows assessing the prospects for the development of the managed system after achieving strategic goals (in the over-the-horizon space) on the strategic plan for the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation until 2030 and for the perspective until 2036, where it is shown that the assessment of the management object should be carried out not only in relation to itself (beyond the time frame of the strategy implementation), but also beyond the management object (inter-object comparison). The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of their use in analyzing the prospects for the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation in international comparison after the period of implementation of the Unified Plan of the Government of the Russian Federation for achieving national development goals of the Russian Federation until 2030 and for the future until 2036.
