Methods for calculating the reliability of products based on CAD
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article discusses modern methods for calculating the reliability of products using computer-aided design (CAD) systems. The emphasis is placed on the analysis of reliability parameters, which are set in the requirements of the technical specification (resource, durability, etc.) or are set according to the parameters of the relevant standards for equipment. To calculate reliability, architecture, description of functions, and determination of the criticality of function failures are required. Failure states are specified in the product requirements or calculated using the API. Reliability is assessed in two stages - at the preliminary stage and at the final stage. The preliminary stage is used to determine the budgets of pumping intensities and is performed at the stage of preliminary technical design. The final reliability calculation is carried out based on the development results and shows that the values obtained correspond to the budgeted values. Various techniques are used to assess reliability and reliability, sometimes several together, and the use of certain techniques depends on the product requirement or the developer's preference. Based on the results of the reliability and reliability analysis, a calculation is drawn up, which contains the results, conclusions and recommendations based on the results of the analysis. The procedure for setting reliability requirements, as well as confirming them, and describing most methods for calculating reliability and reliability are defined by standards. Additionally, each industry may have its own regulatory documents that complement these requirements. In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of using different approaches are shown and practical recommendations for their application are given, depending on the nature of the problem being solved. In conclusion, it is concluded that it is advisable to use CAD to improve the quality of design and save resources while ensuring the required level of product reliability.
