This article explores the potential of using everyday mathematical material for the teaching and sociocultural adaptation of children with a migration history. Interesting examples of the use of various devices and technical tools to develop young schoolchildren’s ability to grasp and process mathematical information are provided. The tasks are accompanied by methodological comments and sample prompts.
