This article analyzes the current state and key challenges of countering terrorist financing in the context of an increasingly complex international economic and political environment. The author examines the impact of radical and extremist organizations on Russia's national security, identifies priority areas of state policy defined by the Russian Federation National Security Strategy, and emphasizes the growing role of financial mechanisms in supporting terrorist activity. The author identifies the main threats posed by terrorist financing and evaluates the state's measures to neutralize them.
