FEATURES OF OBJECTIFICATION IN THE LANGUAGE OF VARIOUS TIME PERIODS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF A SUBJECTIVE ASSESSMENT OF THEIR DURATION
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of the lexical representation of the subjective-evaluative perception of time in the Russian language. The focus is on the phenomenon of time distortion, in which the subjective assessment of the duration of a time interval differs from its objective chronometric value. The key objective of the study is to answer the question of how the phenomenon of time distortion is reflected in the semantics of lexemes nominating a time interval, and how the objective duration of the interval affects the quality of its subjective experience. Based on the material of the National Corpus of the Russian language, a comparative analysis of lexemes of different time durations is carried out using a synchronous-diachronic approach: minute, hour, week. The distortion model of "Moment compression" is characterized. The systemic nature of the relationship between objective time, its subjective perception and linguistic means of its objectification is noted.

Keywords:
