This article presents an overview of the didactic characteristics of an electronic problem book on descriptive geometry developed at the Siberian State Transport University. The book, presented in Moodle XML format, contains over fifty tasks with a large number of options. It is used both for organizing student independent work and as a control and diagnostic tool. It differs from other descriptive geometry problem books in that all graphic problems are provided as electronic files, and each task version contains one or more control parameters that allow for automated verification of the task's results. The article provides example tasks and summarizes the experience of using an electronic system for assessing graphic skills in teaching students in technical specialties. The study data confirms the effectiveness of the electronic assessment system, and conclusions are drawn regarding the need for continued development of the electronic assessment system.
