The article is devoted to a comparative legal analysis of the institutions of forced termination of property rights in the public interest: nationalization, confiscation, and requisition. The study identifies the key differences between these institutions in terms of their legal nature, purposes, and conditions of application. Systemic problems are revealed: for nationalization – a legal vacuum and its substitution by other mechanisms; for confiscation – the dispersion of legal norms and "template-based" application; for requisition – fragmented regulation and contentious issues regarding the determination of compensation amounts. Based on the analysis, measures to improve legislation are proposed, including the adoption of special federal laws, unification of norms, and establishment of guarantees for fair compensation.
