Digital biometrics today is a tool that is fundamentally changing the methods of personal identi-fication and access to a variety of services, including government services. The use of digital bi-ometrics is a key factor in the global digitalization of all spheres of public life. Unlike regular per-sonal data, biometric personal data is classified as highly sensitive information, as it allows for the identification of an individual based on unique, immutable, and inherent characteristics. Therefore, legislative regulation of the use of biometrics in organizations is more stringent, impos-ing stricter requirements for processing, storage, and protection. At the same time, industry regu-lators are systematically strengthening their oversight practices. This article examines the chal-lenges of adapting organizations to new regulatory rules and establishes algorithms for the legal implementation of systems that work with biometric personal data. Practical recommendations for legal and technical support for the use and processing of digital biometrics are formulated to eliminate risks for organizations.
