The work showed that thin and thick particleboards differ very much in physical and me-chanical properties. Flexural strenth of the two types is slightly different, dimentional stability of thick particleboard is lower than that of thin particleboards. The water absorbtion of the thick particleboards is worse than that of thin particleboards. The edge integrity of thick particleboards is worse than that of thin ones.
