This article examines the importance of introducing an assessment of the quality of the activities of the municipal methodological service (MMC) as an organization cooperating with the pedagogical community of the municipality, and in order to improve the skills of its staff and the professionalism of the institution as a whole. Examples of the criteria are given by which the work of the methodical service can be evaluated, and also the experience of cooperation with the electronic library eLIBRARY.RU in the part of its use for forming an independent quality assessment system for MMC activity.

В настоящее время вопросы мониторинга системы образования, организации независимой оценки качества образования регламентируются статьей 95 Федерального закона от 29 декабря 2012 г. № 273-ФЗ «Об образовании в Российской Федерации» [4], приказом Министерства образования и науки РФ от 15 января 2014 г. № 14 «Об утверждении показателей мониторинга системы образования» [3], методическими рекомендациями по расчету показателей независимой оценки качества образовательной деятельности организаций, осуществляющих образовательную деятельность [1, 2].
