The results of development of the model as the element of the concept of cadet education that promotes the creation of optimal conditions for the upbringing and education of students to obtain professional education in the field of military or other public service, including the civil service of the Russian Cossacks, on the basis of established additional general developmental programs that are integrated with the main educational programs including synchronized with additional pre-service programs are described in the article. The model is developed in the framework of the federal target program of education development for 2016-2020 years. Results of the study will be used by representatives of the regional education authorities, chiefs, deputy chiefs of military schools, Suvorov and Nakhimov schools, heads of educational institutions, teaching staff, including officers, teachers, parents, representatives of the governing boards of educational institutions.

Под кадетским образованием мы будем понимать целенаправленный процесс воспитания и обучения несовершеннолетних, обучающихся в образовательных организациях кадетского типа в условиях и исторических традициях старых русских кадетских корпусов, а также совокупность приобретаемых знаний, умений, навыков, ценностных установок, опыта деятельности и компетенции определенных объема и сложности в целях интеллектуального,
духовно-нравственного, творческого, физического и (или) профессионального развития человека, удовлетворения его образовательных потребностей и интересов с целью предпрофессиональной (начальной профессиональной) подготовки несовершеннолетних обучающихся к государственной службе. Кадетское образование является частью образования государственной службы.
