Abstract (English):
This article examines tolerance as one of the most important components of psychological culture of personality. A student´s age is selected for the research as a sensitive period for the formation of ethnic consciousness. The article describes the experience of tolerance formation in the classroom and extracurricular activities, the supervisory hours, on the classes of foreign language.

Проблемы толерантности неслучайно в течение последних нескольких лет оказываются в центре внимания российских ученых, общественных деятелей, педагогов, психологов. Проявления различных форм нетерпимости,ксенофобии, экстремизма и терроризма - яркая черта современной общественной жизни, в значительной степени блокирующая развитие позитивных социальных тенденций.
