Cysts are a fairly common pathology of the mammary glands. Diagnosis and treatment of this pathology still remains a difficult task. The proposed classification according to the BI-RADS system has made an obvious contribution to the diagnosis and treatment of mammary gland formations. The accumulated material in recent years, especially on ultrasound diagnostics, is a prerequisite for making changes to the BI-RADS system in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cysts.
