This article is devoted to the topical topic of reforming and improving the legal system in Russia. The development of the legal sphere is a complex and costly process, however, despite this, in recent years, attention has been paid to improving the mechanism of legal regulation of the work of civil servants, including their status in the subjects of the Russian Federation. The reform of the legal system is an integral part of the rapid changes that are taking place in Russian society. This process is fraught with enormous difficulties, including changing legislation, providing appropriate infrastructure and training personnel. However, the purpose of these efforts is to create an effective and fair system of legal regulation capable of ensuring the protection of the rights and freedoms of all citizens, as well as to guarantee the fulfillment of the duties of civil servants. Special attention is paid to the mechanism of legal regulation of the work of civil servants. The reform addresses issues related to determining the status of employees, their rights and obligations, as well as the establishment of clear rules and procedures governing labor relations. The process of improving this mechanism is aimed at creating conditions for an effective and responsible public service based on the principles of legality and professionalism. The reform of the mechanism of legal regulation of the work of civil servants also covers the subjects of the Russian Federation. It is important to ensure uniform norms and standards in the sphere of work of civil servants at all levels in order to eliminate corruption and ensure the fairness and effectiveness of the activities of state bodies in the regions. In conclusion, the reform and improvement of the Russian legal system is a complex but necessary process aimed at ensuring fairness and efficiency in legal regulation. This is an important step in the development of Russian society, contributing to the protection of the rights and interests of citizens, as well as improving the accountability and quality of public service. The implementation of these reforms requires increased efforts, but their results will have a positive impact on society as a whole.
