Abstract (English):
The article presents a scientific justification for the use of interdisciplinary connections in Russian language lessons in order to develop the communicative competence of schoolchildren. The use of interdisciplinary connections contributes to the students' assimilation of the normative component of speech culture, the formation of analytical and synthetic skills, critical thinking, linguistic observation.
