The article is devoted to the problems of transformation of the state migration policy in the context of COVID-19.The scientific article analyzes the state of the migration situation in the territory of the Trans-Baikal Territory in the context of a new coronavirus infection. The article attempts to fill the gap in the absence of a separate regional study, based on the dynamics of the statistical data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Trans-Baikal Territory from 2018-2022. The authors explore various indicators of migration registration, provide facts confirming the qualitative changes in the migration flow in the Trans-Baikal Territory. The significance of the study also lies in the fact that you can see the indicators in dynamics - this will allow you to build a medium-term forecast for the stabilization of the socio-economic indicators of the region. The authors pay special attention to the state policy of solving the problems of labor and educational migration in Transbaikalia in the context of COVID-19, and formulate ways to solve problems.
