In the current global economic context, the evolution of the agricultural complex (APC) is a key task for every country. To develop a strategy for the sustainable development of the agricultural sector in the Sverdlovsk region, it is necessary to delve deeper into the issues related to the agricultural market. Agriculture influences the provision of the population with food resources, shapes the dynamics of pricing for goods, and impacts the overall standard of living of the region's residents. One key aspect requiring special attention is the issue of ensuring food security. In modern conditions, it extends beyond simply meeting the population's food needs, encompassing aspects of product quality, crisis resilience, and supply stability. A more systematic research effort in this area is needed to identify new methods and technologies capable of enhancing food security and ensuring the stable functioning of the agricultural system. The resolution of issues in the agricultural market should include strategies aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of agricultural producers and stimulating innovation in this area. The development of agriculture not only contributes to food provision but also acts as an engine for economic growth, creating jobs and promoting the development of related industries. Transforming the agricultural sector in the Sverdlovsk region requires comprehensive research, an innovative approach to problem-solving, and the implementation of effective development strategies. This will not only increase the level of food security but also make agriculture a crucial pillar of sustainable development for the region as a whole.
