The paper presents modern approaches to drug therapy for the most common pathology of the mammary glands – fibrocystic mastopathy. The most effective method of conservative treatment of fibrocystic mastopathy in patients of reproductive age is herbal medicine using drugs with anti-estrogenic effects. The indications were determined and the pharmacological action and effectiveness of the drug Mladomaston were assessed. It has been shown that with a 3-month course of administration, the drug provides sufficient effectiveness, expressed primarily in the reduction of pain in the mammary glands and the severity of proliferative processes in the mammary gland tissue. The high effectiveness of young maston allows us to recommend the drug for wider clinical use in the conservative treatment of fibrocystic mastopathy. The practical absence of side effects is an additional argument in favor of including young maston in the complex therapy of fibrocystic mastopathy.
