Yu. P. Kuznetsov (1941-2003) is the greatest poet of the second half of the twentieth century. His poems are characterized by complex and deep imagery, symbolism of images, appeal to the motives of Slavic mythology and folklore, to ancient history, philosophical understanding of the world combined with expressive and vivid journalism. The theme of the manifestation of being and the positive phenomenon of life and existential cessation, absence and non-existence, revealed in the poetry of Yu. Kuznetsov, is considered. The most important images and ideas filling this conceptual field are described in their characteristic components, their features, their interconnection and interdependence. The necessary hierarchy of ontological representations, communicated by the composition and conceptual structure of poetic works, is determined. Connections and oppositions, attractions and repulsions of the reflective artistic thought of Yu. Kuznetsov is noted. The ontological relationship between the phenomena of the existing world in their created images and the reflection of the sphere of non-existence, which constitutes the other Side of existence, the composition, quantity, hierarchy, the content of the symbols of which constitutes a distinctive feature of the poetics of Yu. Kuznetsov is revealed. The context of Russian and world literature and culture is established in the reflection of metaphysical spheres. The existential space of Yu. Kuznetsov in its internal organization, very expressive, bright, deeply meaningful images is deeply original.
