ETHNO-CULTURAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT AS A FACTOR 
IN THE FORMATION OF SOCIAL MOBILITY OF STUDENTS

Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to topical issues of the formation of social mobility of students in the context of the challenges of modern reality. The authors consider the concept of "social mobility" from the point of view of the identity of the individual – civil and ethno-cultural. As a practical experience, the article presents the material of an empirical study conducted by the authors in 2022 on the basis of the Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky during the implementation of the project "University Shifts" for children from newly formed territories of Russia (Luhansk People's Republic, Donetsk People's Republic). The study involved 109 children aged 12 to 17 years with equal social status – children in a difficult life situation.
