Abstract (English):
The article describes the functions of the family as a social institution, the role of preserving and transmitting traditions from generation to generation. Using the example of upbringing in the family of A.S. Pushkin, M.A. Bulgakov, the features of family pedagogy and its influence on the development of the child’s personality, the success of his future creative activity are revealed.
