The article analyzes and defines the concept of “civic-patriotic education of primary schoolchildren”. The current problem of civic-patriotic education of students is considered taking into account changes in the main regulatory documents. The features of civic-patriotic education of primary school students in lessons and during extracurricular activities are identified. The system of civic-patriotic education of primary schoolchildren in the process of studying regional history is presented.
