The aim of this paper is to analyze in depth the problems of mastering the methods of quantitative and qualitative data analysis by students of humanitarian specialties in pedagogical universities. In the conditions of modern educational process, where data become the basis for making informed decisions and developing educational programs, mastering the methods of analysis is the most important aspect of training future teachers. Within the framework of the research, the following tasks were set: to train students to effectively apply data analysis methods to evaluate educational processes, create educational materials and conduct scientific research. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the detailed description of key methods of data collection, processing and interpretation, which contribute to the development of critical thinking and analytical skills. This, in turn, will contribute to improving the quality of education and training highly qualified specialists who are able to successfully adapt to the dynamically changing conditions of the educational environment. As a result of studying the discipline “Methods of quantitative and qualitative data analysis” students develop skills in working with different types of data, which allows them not only to analyze information, but also to effectively apply the acquired knowledge in their practical activities.
