The article is devoted to the current problem of the formation of traditional Russian family values in children of primary school age. Tasks for primary school students are presented, which help students to realize the importance of respectful, trusting relationships in the family and the key role of the mother, the woman, the keeper of the hearth and family relations, the educator of children. The need to maintain the continuity of generations, strengthen the role of the family and family values for the upbringing and personal development of a primary school student is emphasized.
