The article discusses topical issues of the application of punishments not related to the isolation of minors from society. The conditions and procedure of their application are investigated. The significant opinions and positions of leading experts in the areas of youth policy and criminal law have been studied. The issue of the relevance of the use of types of punishment that are not related to the isolation of minors from society is considered. Innovative methods of execution of such punishments in the conditions of the current time are proposed.
