The purpose of the article is to synthesize key theoretical foundations — from the Hyman Minsky hypothesis of financial instability to modern monetary theory and institutional economics — to create a comprehensive understanding of how the economy can achieve stability during cascading crises. By examining systemic risks such as financial contagion, geopolitical shocks, and climate disruptions, the authors identify gaps in existing models and propose an interdisciplinary approach to financial sustainability. By combining classical and modern views, the study contributes to academic discussions and offers policy makers a roadmap for reconciling theory and practice in crisis management.
