The article discusses the features of labor education of junior schoolchildren during extracurricular hours. The importance of extracurricular activities in the formation of work skills, responsibility and respect for work is shown. Various forms and methods of extracurricular work are analyzed, including labor classes, project activities, work in labor circles and creative workshops. The role of extracurricular activities in the development of work skills, independence, responsibility and communication skills of children of primary school age is emphasized, which makes it one of the most important components of the educational process. The article presents the results of a study illustrating the level of labor education of junior schoolchildren, formed in the process of carrying out the proposed educational activities.
