The article presents a pedagogical model for the development of vocal skills in music students through the means of Chinese opera, considered as a comprehensive artistic and educational system. The relevance of the study lies in the need to develop effective approaches to vocal training that combine technical and physiological preparation with expressive and stage performance components. The model includes organizational-pedagogical, methodological, content-process, and assessment-result blocks, each of which consistently outlines goals, objectives, pedagogical conditions, stages of training, and criteria for evaluating the formation of vocal skills. The theoretical foundation is based on activity-based, systematic, personality-oriented, and resource-based approaches, adapted to the specifics of vocal education. At the core of the model is the step-by-step development of basic and additional vocal skills, taking into account the characteristics of the Chinese opera tradition, such as the interaction of voice with speech, movement, and emotional expressiveness. The proposed model can be applied both in academic singer training and in the system of professional development for vocal teachers.
