Abstract (English):
The article examines how the implementation of information security systems affects the business processes of a company. It emphasizes the importance of protecting information and networks from cyber threats, especially in light of the increasing threats in the field of cybersecurity. The authors discuss the positive impact of information security systems on operational activities, company reputation, compliance with standards and risk management. The article considers the problem of poor-quality data in the context of modern business and society. The analysis of the causes of the problem is carried out and ways to solve it are proposed. The main reasons are the lack of a single point of obtaining reliable information, disparate data sources, insufficient consistency in the use of terms and definitions. The creation of a data management office, development of a glossary and description of a typical data life cycle are proposed.
