Considered the excitation of elastic waves on the surface of the film of Nickel by exposure to light femtosecond laser. It is shown that in the experimental design of the type "pump-probe" a crucial role in the formation of the output signal play shear components of strain tensor. Revealed sharply anisotropic character of the dependence of the output signal from the orientation of the magnetic field in the film plane.
